Banking is about as cool as creating a second Facebook account to send yourself gifts on FarmVille (yeah, I did this). So, when ASB challenged us to develop a campaign that connected ASB with a traditionally apathetic school leaver audience, we decided to own it.
We created a series of tongue-in-cheek videos featuring real ASB staff, that leaned into the ‘uncoolness’ of banking.
The result was a record-breaking social campaign for ASB—with a relevance score of 9/10, over 1,137 shares from a reach of 170K (over 50% organic views thanks to its sharability) across Facebook and Instagram.
